last two lines for my new ethernet interface(intel i350t2 ethernet 2 gigabit ports ).
as you see new ethernet interface seen from lspci, but i can't see them from nexenta ce 3.1.1 web gui?
any special instractions to install new nic to nexentastor?
I think you can get the system to try running it with the 'igb' driver with this command.
sudo update_drv -a -i '"pciex8086,1521"' igb
See if it shows up in
If not; you may need to wait on a driver update, it looks like the i350's are part of the igb driver.
I don't know who would be working on such updates, or how you would get them without compiling them yourself though.
It looks fairly minimal for an update though; it gets directed into the same code paths as the other i350 devices in the newer source from intel.
It might just require adding the device ID in a couple places in the igb source and recompiling; I got an 82576 ET2 to work that way.
Lucas thank you for your quick reply,

please advice me ,which dual port gigabit ethernet working properly with nexenta 3.1.1?and is it possible recomplie driver for i350t2?
It looks like you still only have the original 2port 82575EB card being used. Do you have anything in dmesg about the other card?
I'm still not entirely sure on recompiling for use with nexenta.
I've only barely figured out recompiling a couple of drivers from illumos-gate using GCC (for use with OpenIndiana systems), and I don't know how that compares to compiling for nexenta.
I don't know what there is for an HCL anymore either, so I can't help much there.
