Description
Hello!
I'm having this issue for a while now,
and i hoped it would be better now with the recent bugfix..
eeprom boot_ncpus=8
didn't fix it.
As i found the values "boot-ncpus" in "prtconf -v" i tried setting these with eeprom but that seemed to be wrong.
Please help finding out what the problem is..
Some info attached..
Greetings,
Stephan

according to https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/49666/intel-core-i7-640m-processor-4m-cache-2-80-ghz.html your CPU in fact only has 2 cores with 4 threads.

Ah stupid me :-D
Then the fault changes to
"misleading output at boot: NOTICE: System detected 8 cpus, but only 4 cpu(s) were enabled during boot."
Is it possible to change the title of the issuer?
Greetings,
Stephan
