Description

Hi!
When trying to install OI_151 the installer lets me select the drive where to install, then the timezone (Americas - Argentina - Buenos Aires), then dies.
Something interesting: It does not bring up the dhcp ip address, even recognizing the iprb0 wired network interface.
The machine is an old HP DV5000 with Intel Core Duo processor, 2 GB RAM, and 320 GB of hard disk, but I think this is not a question of a hardware issue.
It happens selecting in the first screens the Latin-American keyboard layout, and the US-English keyboard layout.
Thanks!

An Update: this only happens when trying to use the .usb image. When using the .iso image the system installs pretty well.
We need to modify, maybe, some of the distro_const scripts, specifically that one that creates the .usb file, or the one that configures the installer when it looks for the installation medium.
Thanks again, and best regards.

Confirmed here... same behavior on the .usb image, installing x86 on 64-bit hardware (Sandy Bridge Xeon).

Tested installs with both USB/Live CD on oi_151a. Passes installation tests on HP DV8000.
