Description
11626 introduced the /etc/versions/build file which is read by the kernel at boot and used to include the build version in the output of the mdb ::status command.
It would be useful if it was possible for multiple fragment files to be delivered into /etc/versions/ by packages and have them assembled into /etc/versions/build automatically.
This would allow the kernel buildversion to reflect more information about the running state of the system.
