Note that with this drop we'll also pick up some OmniOS code for updating and maintaining hard-links as necessary for the expanded microcode.
This was tested on essentially every physical system I had access to, including:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U CPU laptop
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6770HQ CPU 2.60GHz NUC
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2690 v4 system (this actually had upgraded ucode in the latest drop)
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2670 0 2.60GHz system
Cascade Lake system with ID 0x00050656 (no microcode any more)
Intel E31270 desktop with ID 0x000206a7
Intel system with ID 0x000306f2
- Status changed from New to Closed
- % Done changed from 0 to 100
