Bug #12287
closederrors in audio utility man pages
100%
Description
The man pages for the audio utilities contain a number of errors:
audioctl
square brackets in SYNOPSIS are inconsistently emboldened
... and more generally throughout
missing help subcommand
show-device has control argument that should be for show-control
audiorecord
SYNOPSIS ] misplaced after file
-s is misformatted
-T options should close up
default format is ulaw, not -law
] misplaced in OPERANDS too
audiotest
it's -l (ell), not -1 (one)
If you supply multiple modes, the last one wins
Missing -r for sample rate
audioconvert
u-law not -law (technically mu-law, I guess the greek character got stripped)
audioplay
usage message doesn't need the backslash
