Feature #12471

/usr/share/terminfo compatibility symlink
Added by Joshua M. Clulow about 2 years ago.
Updated about 2 years ago.
Category:
lib - userland libraries
Description
Our terminfo database lives at /usr/share/lib/terminfo
, where lots of things know to look for it. Younger bodies of software, written in an emphatically Linux-centric era of history, may only look in /usr/share/terminfo
for these files. We should add a symlink there for compatibility.

Tested using dtrace and infocmp to reveal terminal description information.
Tested symlink to /usr/share/terminfo and verified that it is correct. Further verified contents of database location and permissions.
