The sensor-transport module is a plugin for fmd that is responsible for polling the discrete state on sensor nodes and generating a generic diagnosis when one or more of these sensors indicates a failure.

Currently, the sensor-transport module only polls sensors associated with fans and power-supplies as historically those where the only places where we were enumerating sensors in the topo tree. However, on a number of Supermicro platforms, we are now enumerating sensors under the motherboard and chassis nodes. Thus, sensor-transport should be tweaked to also poll those sensors.

Additionally, this would require changes to the sensor eversholt rules to allow diagnosing sensor-related faults on motherboard and chassis nodes.
