Reports are now trickling in:
I gave it a spin on two of my test systems. Neither are a suitable model for getting a ucode update, so it's of pretty limited meaning, but they were fine. I also have a vulnerable laptop: processor : 7 vendor_id : GenuineIntel cpu family : 6 model : 142 model name : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U CPU @ 1.80GHz stepping : 10 microcode : 0xca which is listed as updated: CFL-U43e D0 6-8e-a/c0 000000ca->000000d6 Core Gen8 Mobile I booted the ISO into the setup and confirmed that the ucode revision is now 0xd6. So looked good to me.
