I don't know the cause, but simply open a file, edit it, click to close the current file, then click to close pluma, and pluma core dump.

Another problem is when editing text file with large enough number of lines (e.g: 2/3 of screen vertical size), the text started to blink everytime you type in looks like it's trying to parse the syntax on the fly. It caused the editor to be lagging and later on always core dump.

I found this problem to happen with other GTK3 based application as well, e.g: CodeBlocks. I compiled wxWidgets from source with GTK3 (sorry, the wxWidgets in OI's repo not work), and compile CodeBlocks with this wxWidgets. This CodeBlocks has the same blinking problem as pluma, even though it's not crash as pluma.

So, I think the problem should be somewhere on gtksourceview3 or gtk3 itself.

GTK2 based editor doesn't have such problem, e.g: Geany. I'm currently using Geany to replace pluma as the default editor, but Geany has it drawback as an editor, too. Geany is a lightweight IDE. It doesn't remove the recent opened file list and provide no option to clear recent opened file list via it user interface, we have to edit .config/geany/geany.conf to manually remove the recent opened file list. Geany is not suitable for a plain editor. So please fix pluma, thanks.
