Further testing shows that dlc.openindiana.org is available over http:// but not over https://

Thank you for the report. When I created the announcement I was too optimistic about our ability to provide the files over https:. I have fixed the link in the announcement now.

Are you sure? If I follow the links I see the actual version downloadable. What page (URL) do you see?
