Description

I'm attempting to install 2020.10 into a 4x 4 TB RAIDZ2 pool on an HP Z840 with a Quadro K5000. The system crashes when it attempts to start the Desktop.

I attempted to install using text-install which generated an unhandled exception. "must call initscr() first"

Install log is attached as well as the output from scanpci.

As I suspect the video card is the issue, I'm going to swap in a Quadro FX 1800 which uses the 340.108 driver.

FX 1800 resulted in the same error message.

This machine has a real 16550a serial port. Might that be the issue?

Disabled the serial port. Same error.

USB stick text-install worked, but system did not boot. I did a similar install from the USB stick this morning on an HP NL40 with 4x 2 TB disks in a RAIDZ2 pool with SMI labels. That worked fine
