OpenIndiana Distribution

Hi,
In earlier days I used free version of synergy to share one set of mouse/keyboard between 2 physical machines.
OpenIndiana have a version of synergy in repository, but this is kind of outdated. Newer version uses another internal "protocol".

I found that there is a maintained and free version called barrier, which forked from synergy right before it went commersial.

My wish is that someone who is capable of building this could either
   - update current version of synergy   ... or..
   - create a distribution of barrier. (it looks like barrier is supported on a lot of OS's, like linux, windows, *BSD, MacOS...
