The Intel i225 chipset, which is here:
is a 2.5Gbit/sec Ethernet driver using NBASE-T. It has a driver in FreeBSD already, and at first glance, appears to be a long-term 2.5Gbit replacement for the e1000 series like igb and e1000g.
FreeBSD's source is here:

and it appears that the igc_*.[ch] files are Intel-provided.
