Right now it is very hard to figure out how to get started with IPv6 filtering on ipf. If you look at anything IPv6 related for ipf, all you get is:
- A link from ipf(4) to ipf6.conf(4).
- Some bits in svc.ipfd(1M) that describe how to do some additional IPv6 rules
- The -6 option to ipf(1M)
Given that the system uses and folks have been using /etc/ipf/ipf6.conf this should be documented and made actually discoverable.
