Like bhyve, viona presets a Private kernel interface which is nonetheless used by out-of-gate consumers (risking breakage). In the same fashion as #14660, it would be convenient for viona to expose a numeric interface version so downstream consumers could do simple runtime detection of the OS on which they are running.
