Description

This is referred from: [Bug 641186] [NEW] Openindiana won't boot unless I add -B disable-ehci=true on Acer Extensa 4630Z. This issue also was reported in Sun Opensolaris:

I have the same problem with the latest openindiana ISO on
my Acer AS3810T. It's worse on this one because this laptop
has no internal optical drive. My external drive is USB, so I
can't disable the USB driver.

I believe this bug should be upgraded to high. It appears to me that large numbers of Acer Laptops are affected based on Gary Mills reply and looking at the old OpenSolaris Bug 7467 - SNV_106 will not boot without -B disable-ehci=true.

I do understand the current priority are bugs that have legal or security implications. And that this is a small project without the resources of a certain organization that starts with the letter 'O'. I can run Debian in the meantime. But I really like Time Slider!

If someone can donate or loan me access to hardware with the problem, I can probably fix it.
