Description

fmd is leaking an enormous amount of memory. It takes only a matter of minutes for it to reach this size.

17299 root 27 0 0 1177M 1177M cpu/0 96:44 24.94% fmd

There are currently two open faults on my system (memory errors) that seem to be triggering this.

gcore can be found here: http://www.4amlunch.net/OI/fmd_core.17299.gz

This was opened at Rich Lowe's request in order to attempt to find the memory leak.

Access can be granted to this system if need be for debugging.

Restarting the fmd service and watching it I see that it grows from it's initial start size of 17M to 909M in 165 seconds. It settles down at that point then takes a little longer until it hits its "steady state" of 1.2G.
