Can we get the Khmer Unicode in Illumos?

I am not a programmer but if someone points me to the right docs (or gives me a recipe) maybe I can do this task.
If it helps the Fedora package for Khmer is "khmeros-fonts" can I make a spec file based on this?

Sham: this should go as easily as the Malaysian support. The data file you need is km_KH.UTF-8.src.
That will only provide base language support in libc and some base utilities; translation and font support is a different matter entirely.
