Dell BMC on R520 stops responding after bge driver loads

Description
The BMC works until the kernel boots (SmartOS May release), but then the IP goes unresponsive and there's not even an ARP from the BMC.
It's sharing with the second port on our system.

If you pull and build this webrev, it will likely work nicely for you.
It does for me on an R720 with the same problem.

Whoops. That webrev isn't available anymore -- I must have missed the notification. Any idea where this fix landed?
