Description

Currently the ON build assumes that ast is always in /usr/ast for processing various message files. This might not be the case.

Does this also resolve Bug #306?

No, the ksh93 build still runs the tools from the build host (or user-defined area via the ASTBINDIR variable).
Fixing that would involve building a tools copy of msgcc, msgcpp and msggen for use during the build, which would also need a tools version of libast.
