There is an update from Qualcomm Atheros

This driver support two new ethernet chipsets:
1969:1091 - AR8161 Gigabit Ethernet
1969:1090 - AR8162 Fast Ethernet

Qualcomm Atheros(QCA) is commiting to fix all bugs found on this driver.
This driver is also permissively licensed thereby enabling developers of
other OSes to cherry pick this driver to port to their OS.

Hi,

I would like to know if there has been any progress on this. I am installing OI 2017.04 on a computer with a Atheros AR8161. Even if there is only an experimental driver that would be still quite useful.
