% iscsiadm -?
permission denied

This is infuriating. It should show me the usage regardless.

Dan adds

<danmcd> Won't show usage WITH privilege if iscsi/initiator isn't enabled.  :(

That shouldn't be true either. Showing a usage message should not require privilege, services, or magic.
