Description
There is a pretty large amount of dead code in nightly(1), relating to:
- the old IHV gate
- the old realmode build
- the old ON-shaped gates that used to be in subversion (the Companion CD)
- the use of TeamWare
- the use of SVR4 packaging, and the build of SFW
It should all be deleted. People maintaining forks that require any of the old bits should already also be maintaining a forked nightly anyway.
The only other potential victims are people who still build SFW, but do not modify illumos. I've cleared it with the one person of those I know of.
