Description

Hello,

I'm unable to mount a CIFS share (actual Omnios CIFS server, no samba). Following my configuration and the failures:

CIFS share - user has read access (r-x---a-R-c---)

When accessing this share under Windows 7 everything is fine (user can read data)

When mounting this share under linux (debian, Openelec, RaspBMC) the user can browse the directories and see the files - but it is impossible to access the files (example copy it). I get the message "permission denied"

Some cross-check:
when mounting a read-only share (hosted on windows 7 or server 2008 R2 - file permission is read&execute) under the same linux everything works.

When I give the user write permission to OmniOS cifs-share I can access and copy the files.

So I think there is a bug in CIFS-Server in OmniOS/Illumos. It is impossible to create a read-only share and mount it with linux.

Thanks a lot for your help.
