Who is the giraffe? If someone tells me, I might wrap some text around this ...

The giraffe is the Nexenta Core Platform (think totally open source core) logo. Its the logo for the distro, vs. the logo for the Nexenta corporate identity.

There is a typo in the page (companies/orgnaization) and this use of a slash looks clunky. Suggest rewording as follows:

"The Illumos project thanks the following companies and organizations for their support of the Illumos project infrastructure."

Also I don't see a link to this page. Suggest one be added to the top navbar (Home | Wiki | Forums ...).

I have changed the text on the page as suggested, and added links to the websites of the various companies and projects.

I've changed "Illumos Projects" to "Ilumos Community Partners". We need to also add a logo for Greenviolet. Matt Lewandosky (lewellyn) can provide a logo if needed.

I would alter the text for sponsorship to just say:

We thank the following for their sponsorship of the Illumos effort.

I thought about changing the "Illumos Projects" text as well, but to "Projects using Illumos", but since that would not be true I left it at what it was.

Greenviolet has been added to the page, and I have moved all logos into tables, which may them stand more orderly, imo.
I have also added text links underneath each logo, in order to get some names on the logos which don't have text. It may look a bit redundant for some companies/projects, but I thought it would be best to make it consistent.

Since I don't have access to uploading files to the 'site' project, I added the Greenviolet logo as an attachment to the wiki page. This makes a link to the file in the bottom of the page, which doesn't really look that well placed. Anybody with access to move/reupload the file to the file repository along with the other logos, feel free to do so.

Lastly, we should probably get some links pointing into the page, but from where? The top bar or maybe the frontpage?

Okay, thanks. I have updated the image URL to point at the image uploaded to the files section. I do however not have rights to delete the attached image again, that is a separate permission it seems: http://www.redmine.org/wiki/redmine/RedmineRoles
So if the attached image just gets deleted, then all we need is links pointing to the page.
