remove stale \\(LH and OLD_LH logo files
The special troff characters \\(LH and \\(OLD_LH (not sure if you could call it that way) as well as some other obsolete files (DESC.small, DESC.big, S.small, S.big, LINKMAP) should be removed from the source tree.
These cause confusion, and LH collides in a case sensitive filesystem with lh.
The LH glyph was never documented and represents the old AT&T globe logo (the one used in the 1980's! -- http://www.corp.att.com/history/milestone_1984a.html although this logo is black and white)
This work is necessary to complete the fix for 633, which was incomplete otherwise.
No actual documentation uses this glyph/logo and it should just be removed.
Likewise, the legacy optimizations for tiny memory systems (the S.small, DESC.small) and some associated cruft (LINKFILE, DESC.big, S.big) is best just removed. We don't actually deliver any of those files onto target systems (they aren't packaged) and they aren't used in the build, so we ought to just nuke them.
