Description

with cleaning up /etc/inetd.conf the commented out of example tftpd service was removed, but unfortunately the man tftpd is suggesting to use it to enable tftpd service.

So, there should be SMF service registered for tftp (disabled as default) and tftpd manual should be updated to reflect it.
