Description

Curious, noticed during a build the following:

warning: implicit declaration of function 'mkostemp' [-Wimplicit-function-declaration]
   fd = mkostemp (template, O_CLOEXEC);

indeed, the manpage indicates the functions exist:

NAME
       mkstemp, mkstemps, mkostemp, mkostemps, mkdtemp - make a unique file
       name from a template and open the file

SYNOPSIS
       #include <stdlib.h>

       int mkstemp(char *template);

       int mkostemp(char *template, int flags);

       int mkstemps(char *template, int slen);

       int mkostemps(char *template, int slen, int flags);

       char *mkdtemp(char *template);

and they are implemented in usr/src/lib/libc/port/gen/mkstemp.c and
usr/src/cmd/mktemp/mktemp.c

but their prototypes are missing from stdlib.h

I'll look at this. I do see mkstemps() at least, but it is guarded with compilation environment checks, which probably need to be updated for SUSv3/POSIX 2008.
