Description

The NFS_ACL protocol is an add-on protocol to NFS protocol to allow the ACL operations over the old NFSv2/v3 protocol implementations. With NFSv2, the NFS_ACL version 2 is used. Similarly for NFSv3, the NFS_ACL version 3 is used.

The NFSv4 protocol does not need the NFS_ACL add-on protocol, since the ACL features are already integrated into the NFSv4 protocol. Apparently, during the NFSv4 development, there was an idea to still have the NFS_ACL version 4 to support the NFSv4 (before the ACL features were finally integrated into the NFSv4 protocol), so there are some NFS_ACL version 4 leftovers in the gate. Those leftovers are (at least) in these files: nfs_acl.x, snoop_nfs_acl.c, and nfs_stats.c. Since the NFS_ACL version 4 protocol was never fully implemented/deployed, we should remove all of the NFS_ACL version 4 leftovers from the gate.
