Description

We have a customer who is seeing WARNING: vhci_scsi_reset 0x1 messages.

Looking, we see this fragment:

static int
vhci_scsi_reset(struct scsi_address *ap, int level)
{
    int rval = 0;

    cmn_err(CE_WARN, "!vhci_scsi_reset 0x%x", level);

So unconditionally this logs to the console whenever someone requests a SCSI reset. This is normal in the face of media errors, or target errors, etc. as the target driver tries to reset things to get them back to normal. It should most definitely not be logged here, as it is upsetting to end-users and doesn't in and of itself indicate a problem.

Whoever put this here probably should learn about about DTrace and fbt instead. :-)
