Description

Illumos /bin/grep does not support the -P option (Perl regular expressions). Our company must have this option before we can migrate to Open Indiana.

Uh, this isn't URGENT priority. Why is this feature so critical? What software requires us to drop EVERYTHING to implement this particular functionality? What is your company?

Note that you can still download and install GNU grep....
