Description

The most recent timezone bump (2016c) contains some data that makes zic(1) choke. A discussion on the tz mailing list pointed me at this:

http://gitweb.dragonflybsd.org/dragonfly.git/commitdiff/803871a56cf221269001

I ported it to illumos here:

You may also want to consider (possible as another bug) updating our zic.c/zdump.c to the latest version [[http://www.iana.org/time-zones/repository/releases/tzcode2016c.tar.gz]]. It fixes this issue, uses ANSI function declarations, and some other niceties our pre-historic version lacks.
