Thunderbird 38.6-7 does not display remembered passwords

Description
In last 2 Openindiana hipster updates of Thunderbird, it lost ability to display remembered passwords.(Before last 2 updates 38.6, 38.7)
Displaying and editing passwords on older Thunderbird used to work.
Other then that thunderbird mostly work nice, with calendar (thunderbird-lightning).
Sometimes it happens it stays active in memory after closing but it is rarely and haven't catched up yet when it happens.
Sharing image of blank "Saved passwords" manager, also copying usernames and passwords doesn't work.

You should first look upstream because there are known issues related to the transfer of profiles from an older version of Thunderbird and workarounds also exist.
If you do not fall in existing known cases then the problem may be OpenIndiana-specific and should be addressed by us, otherwise it is an upstream problem.
This type of bug report should come with a minimum of research through upstream issues so that we can backport the fix when it exists: at least provide some pointers to speed up the process.
You assigned the task to Milan, this should be changed.

Will see to get back with more info.
Maybe because Thunderbird was not updated gradually, but instantly on much newer release, so i will need to research workarounds.
I assigned it to Desktop (JDS), feel free to reassign.

Upstream issue related to profile migration.
Workarounds are available.
