Description

On booting gnome warnings (look at the picture):
"Could not update ICEAuthority file /home/user/.ICEauthority"
Running under Virtual Box installation, 574 Mb RAM.

Hi,

this failure appreas, if the home of gdm is set to /, which was default on older installations of opensolaris. If you've updated from opensolaris (<132) you will need to change the home of gdm:

gdm:x:50:50:GDM Reserved UID:/var/lib/gdm:
drwxrwx--T 11 root gdm 17 Apr 22 22:48 /var/lib/gdm
