Description

Noticed there is no longer a GUI print manager available with the MATE desktop.
System-config-printer does not look to be available either.
Had to configure my printer using the CUPS web interface.

Could you do some research about possible replacements or if the code "just" needs porting?
Without providing the beginning of a start of a commencement I do not see anything happening anytime soon ;)

What version of system-config-printer do you have installed?

I see System->Administration->Print Manager in my panel.

Mystery solved.....system-config-printer was not installed. So, I installed it and now it's there.

This VM was installed using the Mate Experiemental disk, where it's not part of the standard base installation (but I think it should be). Also, noticed this utility does not have an icon (using some sort of default icon). If we can fix these 2 thing, that would be great.
