Description

The root cause for core dump is missing file
/usr/share/X11/xkb/rules/xorg
of package
old package has this file

If I copy back this file Xnewt starts, but the session reports an error on activate XKB configuration and notes I should add ouput of
$ xprop -root | grep XKB
_XKB_RULES_NAMES_BACKUP(STRING) = "xorg", "sun_type6_euro_usb", "de", "", ""
_XKB_RULES_NAMES(STRING) = "xorg", "sun_type6_euro_usb", "de", "", ""

and
$ gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd
layouts = [us]
options = [grp grp:alts_toggle,ctrl ctrl:aa_ctrl]

A deeper look shows:
xorg, xorg.lst, xorg.xml are links to base, base.lst base.xml
the files base.(|xml|lst) are in the package only the links are missing.
