'format' command says "Failed to initialise libfdisk"
Since recently, I can not use 'format' command to access settings and information about local hard disks.
I am sure i was able to do that before and if it is important, rpool is on SATA disk in PATA/IDE mode, because Intel ICH7 controller and illumos can only work with it in PATA mode.
Same happens when selectin another non-formatted disk under option 2.
'format ' should be able to find libfdisk and enable working 'format' command with disk.
Distributio Openindiana hipster, with illumos dated as BE creation date:
$ uname -a

$ beadm list | grep 95

$ sudo format

/dev/dsk/c3d0s0 is part of active ZFS pool rpool. Please see zpool(1M).
Failed to initialise libfdisk.
sudo truss -o truss.txt -f format
And attaching truss.txt on this bug report.
(cmdk driver does not support DKIOCGMEDIAINFOEXT, so libfdisk should fall back to DKIOCGMEDIAINFO if the DKIOCGMEDIAINFOEXT will result in ENOTTY ioctl(12, 0x0430, 0x08046ECC) Err#25 ENOTTY)
