Description

In recent changes from the last week, the web site is painted with black/black-ish color,
that does not looks nice, is not in-line with blue-ish nature of Openindiana
and reminds of something dark, and not looking positively in line with OI logo and overall look and feel.

Suggesting changing color to something blue-ish for theme/background, to be more in line with Openindiana logo,
so that new and existing site visitors have more positive and cheerful view inspired , instead of seeing something dark or black that could be associated with mourning or not welcoming visitors.
I suggest it is discussed on ML as blueish site colors are better, and that other colors/themes are tried out in some site sandbox space.

The actual bug report should be "somebody should take over and manage the website" but discussion on color taste is not an actual ticket; there is no full-time paid marketing department to handle this.
Managing such tickets takes time from more important tasks.
