Bug #8212
closedmanpages contain obsolete references
100%
Description
There are references in our man pages to a number of obsolete applications and subsystems, which should be removed.
Examples are:
smc
smrole
fmli
mixerctl
cmdtool
sag
section 1F
section 3UCB
Solaris 10 CD and installer
jumpstart
flash archives
solstice/SEA/SMA/DMI
Java System/Message Queue/Application server
Patch server
SFW
ALE
CDE
OpenWindows
SUNW package names
postdaisy postdmd postmd posttek
Looking through filesystem.5 shows a large number; we should also remove references to things like GNOME and apache - few distros ship those and even if they do the paths may be incorrect.
