Description
I have configured a spare partition from the oi_148a boot drive to be the L2ARC cache device for the data pool residing on dedicated disks of my home NAS.
I was under the impression that L2ARC data should survive reboots and speed up the system with actual cached data as soon as the pool is mounted (imported).
While this cache is automatically re-attached after reboot, it is empty and has to be repopulated from scratch during the system's each uptime. This seems wrong...

This is a known "feature". We'd like to add persistence to the L2ARC at some day, but for now it starts over... the entire cache can be rebuilt over time anyway. (With performance degradation right after a reboot.)
