Description

The man page for volcheck should explain that none of the options have any effect on the behavior of the command. They and their arguments are completely ignored. The volcheck command has been around for a long time. Perhaps in the past these options did have some effect. It any case, we can't remove them from the command now, but we can document that they do nothing.

As well, the man page should record that the pathname argument is optional, and can be omitted. In fact, the usual invocation of this command is simply volcheck, with no options or arguments at all.
