I've noticed a number of man pages where text and formatting run together.

This is often associated with the use of \fB...\fR to bolden text. In some cases, there's no space between the word before and the formatted text; in some cases the space is inside the formatting (which is not visible in the output).

A set of candidates can be found with

gegrep -r "[a-z]\\fB" usr/src/man

although this picks up a few false positives.
