I am using VMWare Fusion. And my openindiana on VMWare fusion boots normally. So I try to duplicate this.

Today I installed oi_148 on VMWare Workstation 7.1.4. But I couldn't duplicate this issue.
Could you check my steps?
1. Create the new virtual machine.
2. Select standard.
3. Use oi 148 iso image.
4. Select Sun Solaris. This time select Solaris 10 64bit in virsion field.
5. Create VHD file
6. install oi 148.

Hi, Ryo
Hi, Ryo
This test was in response to following posting.

Hi Devs

On Tuesday I have refreshed illumos based /dev-il repo with mainly g11n fixes and also pkg-gate fixes necessary to get distro-constructor working. I am using the packages from /dev-il at home and at work and things seem to work good enough.

I have also spent some time recently and generated iso images based on /dev-il repo. They can be found here: http://dlc-int.openindiana.org/respins/isos/148b/ .

Feel free to use http://pkg.openindiana.org/dev-il repo and isos on your OpenIndiana development systems.

Cheers,

Andrzej

I downloaded the test 148b iso image and installed in on my vmware workstation 7.1.4.

Please look at the attached jpeg file. I think this iso is fixed for this problem.
