Description
On my old Lenovo T61 I'm unable to connect with an AP running on a channel 7.
Don't ask why I use non standard channel, but Windows, Mac and iOS are able to use it.
AP is running in a mixed mode (b+g)
Both NWAM manager and 'dladm scan-wifi' are unable to see my network.
System specs:
oi_148
iwk (Intel(R) 4965AGN driver(N))
pci bus 0x0003 cardnum 0x00 function 0x00: vendor 0x8086 device 0x4230 Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 4965 AG or AGN [Kedron] Network Connection
I checked only channel 7 and oi_148 build.

Is Channel 7 legal in your regulatory domain? Some WiFi channels require firmware modifications depending on the country in which the device was sold.
Also, can you verify, does this same WiFi part work with Linux or Windows on the same channel 7?

Yes, Windows Vista 32bit is working fine on the same dual-boot machine, the same AP etc.
