Description

While testing a small NAS-like upermicro 5029AP-TN2 system, I stumbled on some problems:
- ACPI should be disabled on install at kernel boot, or I would get a crash dump
- after system install, init 5 would crash dump again
- after boot, also grub had to be set without ACPI, or crash dump while boot
- after booting, and setting grub with ACPI to off forever, an init 5 will alway produce a crash dump

The system features only usb keyboard, tried both usb2 and usb3 slots.

Here you can find a crash dump to be examined, I've been told by the illumos list this is a bug to be solved.

Can't say if this is the dump at boot with ACPI on, or the dump at init 5 with ACPI off.
I would like to know if the ACPI problem can be solved, and let me enable it on this system.
