5293 desire symbol visibility test
The test is -- to run the test suite. It passes cleanly on illumos-gate now. I've also been using this test suite for my own POSIX development in illumos-core for over a year. The main difference(s) here are that some of the config files in illumos-core are a little different, as illumos-core has a number of POSIX fixes that illumos-gate lacks. Getting this change integrated will be a first step towards rectifying that -- I'll be able to upstream the other POSIX fixes more readily given this change.
