Should possibly the ldi_ioctl() return value be affirmed too if rval is determining this new function's return value?

The idea there is that we would like to know if the lower layer did tell us the cls is not supported, the ldi_ioctl return errors "should not happen" - if we have wrong device, there are more problems than one clear screen:D
